RONNY THE NAUGHTY RABBIT

Here is a story for the little ones, completely written and drawn by Loredana Bottaro.





RONNY is a little naughty rabbit. He never does what his Mother says and gets into trouble.


One day Mum says “I go shopping, you kids go to the pool and swim. Don’t go to NASTY BEAR’s orchard! Or he’ll eat you.”


Ronny knows that in NASTY BEAR’s orchard there are many fruits and he likes fruit. There are apples , bananas, mandarins, peaches and cherries.



So he decides to go to the orchard just for a few minutes and after he’ll go to the pool! The NASTY BEAR will not notice him.

So he squeezes under the gate and look! So many fruits! He sees an apple and he eats it!
He sees a banana and he eats it! He sees a mandarin and he eats it!



He looks on the right and he sees a lot of grapes and he decides to stay longer and to take a few grapes.


While he is taking the grapes, he meets WINNI the dog and he says “run away NASTY BEAR is coming!” He’ll eat you!”.




Little RONNY says “OK” and then he looks on the left and he sees a lot of cherries and he decides to stay longer and to take a few cherries. So he says “I’ll run away later”.





While he is taking the cherries, he meets RICK the horse “run away NASTY BEAR is coming! He’ll eat you!”.


Little RONNY says “OK” and then he looks at the back and he sees a lot of peaches and he decides to stay longer and to take a few peaches. So he says “I’ll run away later”.




While he is taking the peaches, he meets HELEN the COW and she says “run away NASTY BEAR is coming!” He'll eat you!”.



Little RONNY says “OK” and then he looks at the front and he sees a lot of mandarins and he decides to stay longer and to take a few mandarins. So he says “I’ll run away later”

But when he gets to the mandarin tree NASTY BEAR is in front of him. Growling he says “I’ll eat you naughty little rabbit!”. So RONNY jumps and loses his grapes, runs and loses his peaches and his mandarins.


NASTY BEAR is big and is almost over him when RONNY sees a trunk and hides inside.

RONNY is sad and cries. NASTY BEAR is waiting for him to get out. But RONNY waits and waits until it is night! NASTY BEAR gets tired and goes to sleep.








So RONNY runs to the gate squeezes under the gate but cannot get out he is too fat!






He meets MARY the pig with her three little piglets. She says “Run away NASTY BEAR is very angry! He’ll eat you!”.

Crying RONNY says “I can’t get out I’m too fat now!” She says “I’ll help you!” and she takes him to a hole in the fence. Little Ronny is happy and says “Thank you” and then very quickly runs away!

He says “I’ll always be a good rabbit!”
